Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Administrative Support Officer based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, offering a fixed-term/secondment position.
Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver a comprehensive, confidential clerical and administrative support service to the Learning Disability Service (LDS) within the North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates should possess 'O' Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 qualifications in English and Maths, an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or equivalent experience, and a recognized IT qualification in Microsoft Office applications.
Additionally, you should have advanced typing skills, experience in managing electronic filing systems, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Experience in an NHS setting and familiarity with NHS inter-disciplinary networks are advantageous.
You will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
Working Hours:
The position requires 18.6 hours per week, which can be scheduled over five mornings or two and a half days each week.
