Job Overview:
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at Creekmoor Day Nursery.
About the Role:
As a Childcare Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting the key person with the day-to-day routine, caring for children under the age of 2 years, setting up and planning activities, and assisting with days out and chaperoning. You will also be involved in all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing and toileting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the key person with the day-to-day routine and care for children under the age of 2 years.
- Set up and plan activities to promote learning and development.
- Assist with days out and chaperone children on outings.
- Provide all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing and toileting.
- Liaise with parents and update children's records.
- Keep children safe and secure at all times.
- Teach through a mixture of free play and curriculum-led activities.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential.
- GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a clear DBS.
