NXTGEN is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Senior Practice Manager to become part of a reputable accountancy firm.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing guidance throughout their business journey—from tax consultation to financial statements and audits.

You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding service and fostering enduring client relationships.

Your role will involve working closely with sole proprietors, partnerships, and non-audit limited companies, addressing matters such as Inheritance Tax, tax-related inquiries, and VAT advisory services.

Regular client engagement, both via phone and in-person, is essential, allowing you to cultivate strong relationships and uncover new advisory opportunities.

You will also oversee the work of junior staff, report to Directors, and lead client meetings to review annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied client portfolio, primarily consisting of sole traders, partnerships, and non-audit limited companies.
  • Engage in frequent client interactions, both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Review the work completed by junior team members.
  • Offer guidance on PAYE and VAT matters within your portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors to support the development and progression of junior staff.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Expertise in addressing complex inquiries.
