Chisquare Group is seeking a talented Assistant Manager to join its dynamic climate economics team. As a key member of our Risk Consulting area, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, driving growth and shaping the direction of our team.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and assessing economic scenarios, testing regulatory exercises using econometric and macroeconomic models, market sizing, elasticity analysis, and economic strategy evaluation. You will also have the opportunity to forecast and collate economic data, develop economic models, and communicate complex economic concepts to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and assess economic scenarios, including testing regulatory exercises and market sizing
  • Forecast and collate economic data, and develop economic models such as DSGE models, Bayesian estimation, CGE, and/or other statistical models
  • Communicate complex economic concepts to clients, and develop economic models to suit their needs
  • Work with a highly intellectual team to drive growth and development in the climate economics space
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, ideally coupled with a postgraduate degree from a leading university
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex economic concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Adaptable to a broad scope of work, with a strong ability to learn and develop new skills
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a macroeconomics team within a consultancy, Central Bank, or Think Tank
