About the Role:
The Product Manager will play a key role in driving profitable growth for the Utilities product portfolios through the effective management of existing and proposed new products to support the strategic and operational objectives of the business.
This will involve the creation, implementation, and monitoring of product strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit targets. The role also requires analyzing demand forecasts of product lines, defining inputs to the Sales-Inventory-Operations-Planning (SIOP) process, analyzing and proposing business models, and identifying adequate inventory levels to maximize inventory turns.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead product management in 3 key areas of the business: New Product Introduction through the Crane NPD process, management of existing product ranges, and management of business models for existing and new product SKUs.
- Develop and implement product strategies and plans to drive sales and profit growth.
- Analyze demand forecasts and define inputs to the SIOP process to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Propose and implement business models to optimize inventory turns and maximize profitability.
