About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Child & Adolescent Eating Disorder Service in Buckinghamshire.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment, and care review to patients and their families/carers who are open to the Buckinghamshire CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

You will also take responsibility for managing urgent clinical calls, including risk, on a rotational basis.

Our service is based in Aylesbury/High Wycombe and works with children and young people aged from 12 up to 18 years old who experience eating disorders.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated nurse with a passion and interest for working with young people experiencing an eating disorder.

You will need to have:

  • NMC registered RMN
  • Experience of working with young people who have mental health needs
  • Interest and passion for ED work

Desirable criteria include:

  • Additional post-reg training
  • ED specific training
  • Experience of holistic assessments
  • Experience of working in a community CAMHS mental health team
