FLT Reach and Counterbalance Driver

We are seeking a skilled FLT Reach and Counterbalance driver to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in Dukinfield. As a FLT driver, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering forklifts in a busy industrial environment, stacking and unstacking goods, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently
  • Stack and unstack goods onto shelves or pallets
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
  • Unload deliveries and relocate goods to designated storage areas
  • Ensure forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
  • Regularly check forklift equipment for faults or damages
  • Use industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
  • Stay up-to-date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
  • Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods

The role also involves operating the coating machine, coordinating materials, conducting quality checks, and providing support to the Senior Operator with the day-to-day running of the Coating Machine.
