About the Role
Melksham Oak Community School is seeking a reliable and efficient Site Assistant to join our team, responsible for managing our Secondary School premises to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance, creating a safe environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the school premises are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
- Manage the school's facilities, including maintenance and repairs
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff
- Work collaboratively with the school community to achieve our goals
Requirements
- Hands-on approach and can-do attitude
- Flexibility to cover peak periods
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of working as a handyperson, caretaker, or site manager, ideally in a school or similar environment
