Job Title: Infrastructure Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our Intelligent Infrastructure team at WSP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing the next generation of transportation systems that will shape the future of our world.

About the Role
  • Design and develop electrical, electronic, and communications infrastructure for telecommunications sites and roadside applications.
  • Collaborate with our Technology Infrastructure Design team to deliver high-quality output that meets client expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of design processes and digital design techniques.
  • Lead and motivate junior team members, encouraging individual growth and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience of design standards in UK roads technology design.
  • Ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
  • Practical understanding of working with infrastructure design systems, including skills in Building Information Modelling systems, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise.
  • Theoretical and experienced application of infrastructure design, with strong team communications and attention to detail.
