Job Title: Children's Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young client with spina bifida in their family home.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday evenings (5pm-8pm) and Saturday mornings. You will be responsible for providing personal care, medication management, and mobility support to our client. You will also be involved in activities such as horse riding and playing board games with the family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to our client with spina bifida
  • Manage medication and clinical equipment
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Participate in activities with the client and family, such as horse riding and board games
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate, full specialist training, and ongoing support. You will also have access to accrued holiday pay, a flexible zero-hours contract, and the opportunity to join our Active Learning Hub for e-learning and face-to-face training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a driver and have a passion for working with children and families. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Full training and support will be provided, so no previous experience is required.
