Job Description

**Job Title:** Engineering Shift Manager - General Engineering

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Manager to lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering advice and coaching, managing and participating in manufacturing improvement project teams, and leading a team of engineers in proactive and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering advice and coaching to team members
  • Manage and participate in manufacturing improvement project teams
  • Lead a team of engineers in proactive and reactive maintenance
  • Schedule, collate, and generate data on a monthly basis of all site plant from a condition monitoring viewpoint
  • Highlight pre-fail components and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment
  • Recognised apprenticeship qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Engineering leadership experience or a desire to develop into a leadership role
  • Strong FMCG maintenance experience, with a focus on supervisory or management roles
