Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Door Engineer to join our team in the Sheffield and Yorkshire area. As a Door Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repairs of roller shutters, sectional, speed, loading bays, and fast action doors on various customer sites within a local postcode area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on door equipment, including roller shutters, sectional doors, and loading bays.
- Conduct site visits to assess and repair door equipment, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of work completed, including paperwork and documentation.
- Attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of door equipment and industry developments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, or NVQ certification.
- Previous practical experience working on shutters, sectionals, or loading bays.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Electrical, welding, or hydraulics experience.
