Job Title: Children Law Solicitor

Job Summary:

GEMINI RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is seeking an experienced Children Law Solicitor to join our team. As a leading recruitment agency specializing in legal recruitment, we are committed to providing a highly focused service to our clients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Children Law Solicitor to lead our Family & Children Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Family & Children Law work, including providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to Department Director
  • Responsible for all aspects of Family & Children Law work, including providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members
  • Ability to manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities
  • Assisting with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department
  • Variety of duties, including dealing with a range of Family & Children work, including divorce, financial disputes, and remedies, international elements of child abduction/adoption, injunctions/non-molestation orders, and providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members
  • You will have a professional, proactive approach, strong client care skills, and be interested in Business Development and Marketing to supplement the substantial work volumes brought in by the company

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying
  • Be committed and highly driven to provide an excellent standard of service to our clients
  • Strong management skills
  • Committed team player with the ability to approach team concerns fairly, foster a culture of positive change, and encourage cross-referrals
  • Professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and the ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalities involved in Family & Children Law issues
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to successfully market the company and generate new business
