Everec is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Safety Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a leading EV company, Everec specializes in the development and manufacturing of electric vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop safety plans for projects and vehicles to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead the execution of electrical safety activities throughout the development phases of the safety lifecycle and engineering product development process.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineers in producing high-quality electrical safety work products, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety analysis.
  • Manage the requirements management system to ensure data integrity and traceability throughout the electrical safety lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with suppliers from the early concept stage through to development audits, design reviews, and into launch and production phases.
  • Present well-reasoned safety analyses and arguments to positively impact design decisions and educate stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven track record of delivering electrical development projects as a key team member.
  • Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and controls.
  • Awareness of hardware and software quality management processes.
  • Demonstrable planning and delivery of concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to escalate major risk issues to senior management.
