Senior Mechanical Engineer

Eden Scott is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Glenrothes. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-profile projects within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of new products and equipment for offshore oil and gas environments
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering calculation packages and test procedures
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a design role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience in design of fabricated structures for offshore/subsea environments to DNV standards
  • Proficiency in modelling software, such as Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Experience with FEA software for stress analysis, preferably Solidworks or ANSYS
