Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to join our team in Plymouth. As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to our business units and project managers.

The Role

As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing and analyzing financial reports and data to inform business decisions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and systems
  • Providing financial guidance and support to non-finance managers and project teams
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks and opportunities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and financial software
  • Sound technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience of working with non-finance managers and challenging complex financial data

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
