Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing a highly skilled physiotherapy assessment, education, advice, and treatment service to outpatients referred by GPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations or multiple pathologies, using specialist knowledge, clinical reasoning skills, and specialist manual assessment techniques.
  • Formulate and deliver individualized or group physiotherapy treatment programs based on a sound knowledge of treatment skills underpinned by theoretical knowledge and experience.
  • Work in the community setting, including periods of lone working with telephone support from a senior physiotherapist if required.
  • Supervise, mentor, and assess physiotherapy students to graduate standard and ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standard set by the universities.
  • Participate in formal research projects and undertake evidence-based audit projects to develop and enhance personal and team's clinical practice across the service.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Significant experience at Junior level covering all basic rotations.
  • Previous experience in Outpatient Musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Previous NHS or equivalent experience.
