Technical Support Specialist (Contract):
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a client in the social care sector. This organization is a leading provider of social care services in Scotland.

Position Overview:


The Technical Support Specialist will play a crucial role in the continuous upkeep, improvement, and advancement of our internal and external ICT systems as well as core infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set across various technologies and be prepared to contribute effectively from day one.

Position Details:
Technical Support (Service Desk)
3 months (initial contract)
£13/hour (Weekly pay)
Remote and On-site
Immediate availability required

Key Responsibilities:
Ongoing oversight, maintenance, and assistance of the IT Infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based. Provide support for desktops and laptops through helpdesk, calls, and direct inquiries.

As a proactive team member, you will manage competing priorities while demonstrating excellent communication skills to deliver top-notch IT support within our dynamic team.

You will also aid in the daily operations of the IT department.

Essential Technical Skills:
Experience with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Proficiency in supporting Windows Server OS
Familiarity with Cloud-Based Infrastructure Solutions, such as Microsoft Azure
Mobile Device Management expertise using Intune
Network Configuration skills - Routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP
Remote Desktop Support experience via TeamViewer
Knowledge of PowerShell
Experience with Microsoft Deployment technologies for configuring and deploying Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
