Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Irwin and Colton, a specialist Health and Safety recruitment company. As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of our clients' employees and contractors at global events and productions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to drive a positive health and safety culture across the organization
  • Lead on the delivery of operational safety protocols and identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function
  • Analyze risk across the critical working environment and create change to mitigate risks
  • Ensure contractors on-site are compliant with agreed legislation and company guidelines

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant membership of a professional body
  • Proven experience within the media and production industry (television / music is ideal)
  • Experience in influencing, engaging, and liaising with senior management to create cultural change on safety
  • Strong working understanding of relevant ISO systems (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001)
  • Experience dealing with multiple contractors on-site, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols
