Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Functional Skills English Teacher to join our team at HMYOI Wetherby. As a member of our team, you will develop and deliver high-quality education to meet contractual requirements and standards, supporting learners and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards
  • Support learners and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards)
  • A commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale
