About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a key member of our Quantity Surveying department, you will be responsible for providing cost management and project coordination services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Provide support with contract administration and dispute resolution

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • At least 18 months of experience in a PQS or consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
