About the Role
The Nurse Specialist will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, specialist care to adult patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). As a key member of the MS team, you will provide expert advice and information to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, promoting patient-focused care and improving MS care for the local population.
Main Responsibilities
- Advocate for patients, carers, and their families, promoting patient-centered care and acting as a resource for the multi-agency team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience, prevent unnecessary emergency department attendances, hospital admissions, and decrease length of stay.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with MS.
