This is a key position within the Trust, responsible for driving the development and implementation of digital systems and products that support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the implementation of the Trust's digital systems and products strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and vision.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in the planning, development, and deployment of clinical and business information systems.
- Oversee the maintenance of clinical information systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Electronic Patient Records (EPRs), Patient Administration Systems (PASs), and other relevant applications.
- Align clinical systems initiatives with the organisation's goals and vision, and identify emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry to drive innovation.
- Develop and lead the implementation of the Trust's technology roadmap, ensuring the smooth running of trust digital services.
- Provide expert professional advice on technical matters, and take the lead on all matters related to IT.
- Manage the staff within the IT function, delivering and maintaining high-performing expert teams capable of supporting all the Digital requirements of the Trust.
