Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Au Vodka. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage UK payroll and non-UK payrolls processed by third-party agents
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and business banking across multiple currencies
- Oversee vendor payments and associated approvals and reporting
- Develop and implement key policies and procedures, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory, and Treasury
- Prepare monthly working capital reporting and interpretation of insights and issues
- Prepare quarterly Board working capital reporting for the CFO
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure management accounts accuracy and timeliness
- Lead the annual audit with a top 10 audit firm
- Ensure timely filing of VAT returns in the Netherlands and reconciliation of excise duty accounts
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Excellent Excel skills and experience working with inventory
- Knowledge of UK VAT and experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues, with a calm and measured approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and business partnering skills
- Self-motivated and organized, with a sleeves-rolled-up approach to work
- Experience with Xero software and Cin7 WMS software
- International finance experience and knowledge of audit and accounting standards
