Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Venues Collection. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to the success of our events.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages to our clients and customers
- Ensure that all food and beverage services are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Build strong relationships with our clients and customers, understanding their needs and preferences
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with our events team, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and customers to ensure that all needs are met
- Health and Safety
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Report any health and safety concerns or incidents to your supervisor or HR representative
Requirements
- Previous Experience
- Previous experience in a similar catering or hospitality role is highly desirable
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg)
