About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join NELFT North East London Foundation Trust as a CAMHS Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and direct input on clinical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs across Havering.
  2. Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues, ensuring they receive the support they need to excel in their roles.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external CAMHS mental health providers and acute care facilities, ensuring seamless care pathways for our patients.
  4. Work closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, and other team members to share clinical supervision requirements and ensure effective team working.
  5. Be responsible for patients allocated to you, assessing, managing, planning, and delivering care that meets their individual needs.
  6. Support your peers and the team manager, being an effective team member while working on your own initiative.
  7. Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical skills and experience in CAMHS.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
