About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join NELFT North East London Foundation Trust as a CAMHS Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and direct input on clinical matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs across Havering.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues, ensuring they receive the support they need to excel in their roles.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external CAMHS mental health providers and acute care facilities, ensuring seamless care pathways for our patients.
- Work closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, and other team members to share clinical supervision requirements and ensure effective team working.
- Be responsible for patients allocated to you, assessing, managing, planning, and delivering care that meets their individual needs.
- Support your peers and the team manager, being an effective team member while working on your own initiative.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical skills and experience in CAMHS.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
