Join Altium's Digital Sales Team

Altium is a leading provider of electronic design automation (EDA) software, and we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our EMEA team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through fast-paced volume sales to new and current customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute specialized projects to drive customer engagement and qualify new accounts.
  • Establish and extract value for Altium through the application of our products to meet customer requirements.
  • Uncover new customers through the application of Altium products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical team members to meet and exceed team objectives.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in Altium's Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Altium products and technologies, competitive products, and industry trends.
  • Develop new lead opportunities by collecting information on business pains/needs, timelines, authority, and project teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (computer/electrical engineering or related technical field preferred).
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of inside sales experience in software sales is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of PCB or embedded software is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills are a must.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.
