Job Title: Secondary School SEND Teacher

Polaris Children's Services - Ormston School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School SEND Teacher to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who can provide high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students in a secondary school setting, working closely with the special educational needs team to ensure that students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students with SEND in a secondary school setting
  • Work closely with the special educational needs team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide high-quality education and support to students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and inclusive education
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEND

Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who has a passion for working with students with SEND. The successful candidate will have:

A degree in Education or a related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience of teaching and supporting students with SENDExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team
