  • Ensure the delivery of a safe and effective nursing service
  • Utilize pharmacy management systems for patient care
  • Manage inventory effectively and contribute to stock oversight
  • Accurately process prescriptions while minimizing patient wait times
  • Maintain precise records and documentation
  • Ensure the safe and accurate distribution of medications
  • Act as a quality assurance checker
  • Oversee the procurement, receipt, and storage of medications
  • Assist in planning and executing prescription deliveries
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve organizational goals
  • Propose improvements to operational processes
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and patients
  • Engage in quality assurance and clinical audit initiatives

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Education

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Recognized nursing qualification meeting registration requirements
  • Current registration with the relevant nursing body

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in computer use, including keyboard skills
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management
