Job Summary:

Role Overview:

This Fabric Engineer position is an integral part of the Campus Engineering Team, supporting both shift and technical teams by delivering planned, reactive, and remedial tasks. The role involves building fabric maintenance and value-added change-work delivery to contribute to the continually developing automated environment across the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal delivery of planned maintenance, reactive, and remedial regimes, including exposure to project activity, reducing or eliminating external contractor dependence in a 24-hour environment where SLA is often business-critical.
  • Achieving first-fix on building fabric, fixtures, and equipment, supporting the Engineering Technician team, demonstrating skillsets such as action change-work in the branch within agreed hours, understanding and using IT Systems to action and facilitate work, maintaining effective communication links with the Engineering Shift Managers, and resolving operational issues promptly, courteously, and effectively.
