Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to increasing profitability by working closely with sales and marketing teams.
- Support the country manager in analyzing and optimizing commercial spend.
- Prepare and support the organization in creating financial forecasts and business plans.
- Collaborate with the sales director on pricing decisions.
- Process monthly Trade Spend and coordinate with the sales team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Review daily bookkeeping for the group and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts.
- Manage statutory reporting and work closely with auditors.
- Review VAT Returns for the UK and Ireland.
- Prepare Intrastat and EC Sales List/VIES reports.
- Responsible for Sugar Tax Reporting in Ireland.
- Lead the annual statutory audit and financial statement preparation process under IFRS.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with reporting and invoicing queries within all systems.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive improvement through change.
