About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive administration support to ensure the smooth and efficient service of the Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to a high volume of calls and enquiries in a sympathetic and professional manner, ensuring the appropriate action is taken at all times.
- Advise patients of their imaging appointments and provide them with any required information or literature.
- Discuss sensitive or complex information with patients as required.
- Send out preparation guidelines and medication to patients as prescribed by Consultant Radiologists.
- Cancelling and rescheduling Radiology imaging sessions and appointments as necessary.
- Ensure urgent diagnostic reports are escalated to the referrer as soon as possible.

Requirements
- 3 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Word Processing skills.
- Good customer relation skills and experience of working in a customer service or NHS environment.
