Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials and resources to meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Support students with physical disabilities, using specialist equipment and techniques to promote independence and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with other support staff, teachers, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting students with SEND.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote inclusion and diversity in the school community.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children with SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and the school.
