Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Proactive Advice and Support: Offer guidance and coaching to line managers on employee relations cases, ensuring that employee issues are handled fairly and consistently.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate and minimize risk exposure to the business through proactive risk management of employee relations cases.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Provide analysis on employee relations themes, issues, and areas of concern, offering options and solutions to support business requirements.
  • Organizational Design: Support the delivery of organizational design projects, including redundancy, TUPE, and M&A activity.
  • HR Policy Development: Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, ensuring they align with current legislation and best practice.
  • Recruitment Support: Provide input and feedback on recruitment processes as required.
  • Training and Development: Identify people management skill and knowledge gaps, providing coaching and training interventions to support managers in handling employee relations matters.
  • Compliance and Risk: Maintain the first line of defense by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that meet regulatory standards.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed risk decisions and effectively debate and challenge management recommendations within the approved Risk Management Framework.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Qualification: Must be CIPD qualified.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of solid experience working as an HR Advisor with strong employee relations experience.
