We are seeking a MEICA Engineering Specialist to contribute to our Natural Resources division, focusing on wastewater treatment projects.

Position Overview

Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time role with potential for flexible and part-time arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our team, you will engage in various projects aimed at enhancing wastewater infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting Health, Safety, and Wellbeing among the workforce, setting a standard for engagement.
  • Evaluating and selecting Mechanical & Electrical supply chain partners based on technical and commercial criteria.
  • Overseeing project execution to ensure compliance with established methods and instructions.
  • Managing and reviewing MEICA design outputs from our design collaborators.
  • Collaborating with site supervisors and commissioning engineers to track project progress and ensure alignment with approved designs.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the MEICA Engineering Specialist role will possess:

  • Experience in the water industry, particularly in commissioning Mechanical and/or Electrical systems within wastewater settings.
  • Relevant qualifications such as BEng, ONC, HNC, or BTEC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certifications including CSCS card, SSSTS, and Confined Spaces training.
  • Experience in reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) related to process plant installations.
  • A valid driving license.
