Research Fellow in Genetic Trait Analysis

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Complex Trait Genomics Group under the guidance of Professor Peter Visscher.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing research projects aimed at elucidating human trait diversity. You will also be expected to prepare scholarly articles, present findings at academic conferences, and explore avenues for securing research funding.
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess (or be nearing completion of) a PhD/DPhil in a pertinent discipline such as statistical genetics, quantitative genetics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, econometrics, or related fields.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a solid understanding of genetic and genomic principles, possess strong skills in R (or a comparable statistical software), and exhibit exceptional communication abilities.
This position is full-time (with part-time options available) and is a fixed-term appointment for a duration of 2 years.
