Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to transport timber goods from mills to various customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E license, a valid CPC, and a digital tachograph card. Previous experience in timber transport and ratchet-strapping is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport timber goods safely and efficiently from mills to customer sites
  • Operate flatbed Class 1 vehicles with ratchet-strapped loads
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of HGV experience
  • Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E license
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
  • No more than 9 penalty points
