About the Role

AJ Chambers is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing department in Chelmsford. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Head of Department to deliver exceptional client service and support the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and type up legal documents and correspondence, including bills of costs and completion statements, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Land Registry Expertise: Develop a working knowledge of the Land Registry Direct system application forms and complete Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches.
  • Conveyancing Process Management: Progress the conveyancing process efficiently, accurately, and timely, while adhering to legal requirements and ensuring all documents and files are up to date.
  • Administrative Support: Provide end-to-end administrative and clerical support on conveyancing transactions, including maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Client Communication: Deal with client enquiries, including telephone calls, and provide excellent written and verbal communication skills.
