Job Overview

Endeavour Recruitment is seeking a skilled Embedded C++ Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining software for one of our critical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, implement, and test missile subsystem software using C++ and Ada.
  • Collaborate with a small team to develop and maintain software for real-time systems.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality code and maintainable software.
  • Develop software that is adaptable to changing requirements and can be easily extended.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including Systems Engineering, Electronics and Electrical, and Test and Validation.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in developing Embedded software using C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Ada and Python is a plus.
  • Experience in model-based development using UML or tools like IBM's Rhapsody.
  • A flexible approach to solving technical problems and a focus on code quality.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Security Clearance

Security clearance level: SC Only.

Work Pattern

Full-time onsite, 4 days compressed week.

Pay Rate

GBP60 - GBP65 per hour, umbrella inside IR35.
