About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Advisor to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our Corporate Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in driving performance improvement across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement performance management strategies to drive business improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice to senior leaders on performance management, data-driven decision-making, and business intelligence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and initiatives that drive performance improvement and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive performance and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality performance management information and reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent by experience.
  • Significant experience in delivering high-quality performance management and business intelligence solutions in a public sector setting.
  • Expert knowledge of performance management principles, data analysis, and business intelligence tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and initiatives.
