About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated M&E CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in a leading engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) drawings using CAD software, supporting our engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D M&E drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
  • Site Visits and Verification: Conduct site visits to gather information and verify drawings.
  • Library and File Management: Maintain and update CAD libraries and project files.
  • Team Support: Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an M&E CAD Technician or similar role.
  • CAD Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • M&E Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E systems and building services.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Teamwork and Communication: The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
