Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at 15below Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of software projects, working closely with customers, Product Managers, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Facilitate the clarification and communication of project requirements, objectives, and priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct estimation and planning workshops to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Develop and maintain overall project plans, prioritized user stories, release, and sprint plans.
  • Manage project scope and budget, aligned with commercial agreements.
  • Manage changes to scope/requirements and report project status to customers and stakeholders.
  • Engage problem-solving skills to identify risks and issues, take mitigating actions, and remove project obstacles.
  • Create and maintain relevant project documentation to ensure audit trails.
  • Ensure sustainable product design and implementation in line with best practice, relevant standards, and technological developments.
  • Deliver high-quality, innovative software that meets business needs.
  • Coordinate the transition to Support from the Project team following successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain product support documentation, including administrative, technical, and end-user system documentation.
  • Evaluate project performance and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in customer software/IT solution project management.
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing software projects.
  • Recognized Project Management Qualification (PRINCE II, Agile Project Management).
  • Experience in an agile environment, preferably SCRUM.
  • Excellent English and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus amongst stakeholders.
  • Budget management and strong leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Airline/travel industry experience, including reservation systems/GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or Navitaire).
  • BSc/BA in a business or technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Certified SCRUM Master.
  • Experience working with third-party APIs and web service interfaces.
  • Experience of messaging systems.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Change Management processes.
  • International experience and mobility.

We offer a truly flexible working environment, allowing you to work from home, our central Brighton office, or a combination of both. Full-time (37 hours per week) position available.
