Job Title: Fabric Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team at Integral UK. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance repairs across our contract portfolio, liaising with site-based technicians and approved contractors, and providing technical advice when required.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across the contract.
  • Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
  • Work to recognised industry standards at all times.
  • Participate in flexible working hours and out-of-hours emergency cover as required by the contract.
  • Undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development.
  • Assist other trades as/when required.
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by Managers within the remit of the role.
Requirements:
  • Trade background and qualifications (recognised qualification or apprenticeship).
  • Extensive knowledge in building fabric services.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
  • Smart appearance, presentable.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements.
