The Role: Electrical Technician - Workshop Environment

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our onshore workshop team in Aberdeen. This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Carrying out inspections, maintenance, installations, and repairs on EnerMech and client-owned equipment across our Crane/Hydraulics workshops.
  • Performing electrical inspections, maintenance, and fault finding on various equipment during occasional site work.
  • Liaising with suppliers for quoting and purchasing materials and spares for assigned work activities.
  • Contributing to the regular review and updating of procedures and risk assessments to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective work practices.

While a CompEx certificate is beneficial, it's not strictly required. Comprehensive training will be provided for working on this type of equipment, and successful candidates after probation will be enrolled in the CompEx course.

Your Qualifications:

  • A completed Electrical apprenticeship with proven experience in repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and systems.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of industry and regulatory requirements for equipment testing and inspection.
  • Basic IT skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an Electrical Technician seeking a stable, onshore role with a focus on workshop-based activities. Overtime opportunities are available.
