Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Nursery People. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Lead and inspire a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety, are followed meticulously.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a nursery setting, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- SENCO qualification preferred.
