We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our well-established and integrated adult community rehabilitation team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a part-time role, requiring 24 hours of work per week over 5 days.

Our community rehabilitation team assesses housebound adults within their home environment, promoting independence and improving quality of life through holistic therapy and collaboration with social services, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.

The post holder will be responsible for managing routine and complex cases, supporting the clinical lead/team manager in the day-to-day running of the therapy team, and contributing to the development of the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Active involvement in the day-to-day running of the CHSCS therapy team.
  2. Networking with multi-disciplinary organizations, users, and carers to manage interfaces and improve service delivery.
  3. Planning and providing local induction programs to ensure trust induction standards are met.
  4. Workload prioritization and planning within the team.
  5. Reviewing and amending clinical priorities to balance patient-related and professional demands, ensuring alignment with service policies.
  6. Providing regular supervision and performance management.
  7. Supporting the team manager in the effective management of resources, including financial accountability.

This role attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, pro rata for part-time staff.
