We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Philema Hospitality Management Enterprise. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide warm welcomes and ensure that all guests receive the highest level of hospitality and care during their stay with us.
- Complaint Resolution: Minimize and handle complaints professionally in accordance with our policies.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals.
- Sales Performance: Work with the Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets.
- Inventory Control: Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs.
- Training and Development: Ensure that your team are trained and effective in their roles, and that menu training is carried out as per release of new menus.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensure that relevant admin is carried out within the department to meet business needs.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Ensure that you are employing relevant staff for the department and following correct recruitment and induction procedures.
- Marketing and Promotions: Keep up to date with current promotions and new products, and make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range.
- Event Management: Assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
- Financial Management: Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- Health and Safety: Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
- Awards and Recognition: Ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards for Gallery Restaurant.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Emergency Procedures: Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
Requirements:
- Immaculate Personal Presentation: Maintain high standards of personal presentation and appearance.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to forward think.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Calm Under Pressure: Remain calm under pressure and provide excellent customer service even in challenging situations.
