Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong passion and dedication to crafting exquisite pastries, desserts, and afternoon tea offerings.
- Lead a designated section while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils in accordance with hotel standards.
- Adhere closely to recipe guidelines to ensure uniformity in pastry and dessert preparation.
- Prepare all necessary mise-en-place efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a luxury hotel environment, particularly with large-scale banqueting and afternoon tea services.
- Expertise in chocolate work and a solid understanding of afternoon tea operations.
- Ability to mentor and supervise a motivated team of junior chefs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety training.
