About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Duty Manager to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fairground rides and equipment.

As the Technical Duty Manager, you will be the first point of contact for technical queries and issues, and will be responsible for coordinating routine technical inspections, maintenance, and repairs. You will also oversee the administration of your role, including the control and purchasing of stock and equipment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating technical inspections and maintenance of fairground rides and equipment
  • Managing the administration of your role, including stock and equipment control
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements

We are looking for someone with a sound technical background, preferably with a mechanical bias. You will be a strong communicator and leader, with the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritize a demanding workload. If you have a keen eye for detail and are thorough and meticulous in your approach, we would love to hear from you.
