Role: Manufacturing Operations Supervisor
Location: Rotherham
Compensation: Up to £60,000
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing and directing all aspects of Manufacturing, including Inventory Management, Production Planning, Supply Chain Coordination, Order Processing, and all Mechanical Engineering facets of the organization's offerings.
- Ensuring compliance and upkeep of the organization's Product Certification, leading assessments for IEC BS EN & ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
- Overseeing various components of the Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold ISO 9001 certification, which includes the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and Risk Assessments.
- Developing and maintaining all Bill of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Modifications, and version control for components and assemblies.
- Creating and sustaining all mechanical design documentation, including 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings, along with necessary calculations and compliance checks.
- Contributing innovative ideas and managing the Mechanical elements of products throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing Management, encompassing Inventory Control, Production Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), along with Order Processing.
- Experience in team leadership, including training and conducting Performance Development Reviews (PDR) for team members.
- Proven expertise in Mechanical Engineering for electro-mechanical products, with proficiency in 3D CAD and detailed 2D drawings.
- Prior experience with Hazardous Location Products (ATEX/IECEx, US/C) and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Capability to develop and uphold organizational procedures effectively.
